The Family Promise of Greater Denver community was deeply touched by the generosity of a group from Living Spaces in Lone Tree, who recently volunteered to care for our Static Site shelter.

The Power of Community
With incredible thoughtfulness and teamwork, the group rolled up their sleeves to clean, organize, and refresh the space from top to bottom. Their efforts went beyond simple tasks—they created an environment that feels welcoming, peaceful, and truly like home. This was a wonderful collaboration and effort put forth by Living Spaces, Jeri Apodaca (Executive Director), Eileen Ruter (Board Director, President), and our staff.
When families returned, they walked into a space that felt renewed and cared for.
For families facing uncertainty, moments like this can bring a sense of comfort, dignity, and hope that words often cannot fully capture.
We are sincerely grateful to the Living Spaces team for their compassion and willingness to serve. Their kindness made a lasting impact, and we are reminded once again how powerful community support can be in lifting up the families we serve.
When families walk into a clean, welcoming shelter, they feel seen, supported, and hopeful about their future. Your generosity helps make moments like this possible. If you’d like to help more families find safe shelter and a path toward stability, please consider making a gift today.
